UNC Graduation Ceremony

We were happy to be there for Cuz Bushra when she proudly graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Nael fell asleep pretty much after we had settled down and stayed asleep throughout the ceremony.
So, Ryad had all the fun and pictures taken:). The day was perfect and I got a few good captures from the ceremony.

Ryad had loads of fun cheering for the young graduates.

Not to mention balancing on the bleachers!!!

It was great sitting with everyone but Ryad wanted some more *room*

Soon we moved to a vacant section, which was like our own personal stadium.
A free flying balloon, choosing it's path of journey just like the young UNC graduates:)

The young blue, tossing their tassels:) This moment always gets me. This picture is from far away though.

I took the liberty of peeping down and clicking this one :)

Faith @ Simplicity is hosting a photo challenge which I just had to enter because I loved her little button and wanted a reason to grab it put it up on my blog :)
These are a few captures from my daily afternoon walks with the my twin boys.

Waiting to bloom?

Pearls of water

And I found this guy getting real chummy with us and was happy to pose for my shutterbug.

Ah, tranquility

A Face With Flowers

My son Ryad {one of my sweet little twin boys} loves flowers. This one is from the cherry blossom festival in the capital a few weeks ago.

What Does Spring Mean To You

My last post inspired me to write this one. It's about what SPRING means to me and some great times that we had with our kids in the past couple of months.

Spring means to sit back, relax, take it easy and take time out for that road trip with the family. This picture is of Ryad on our loong road trip to Florida during the spring break.

Spring means to go out and discover the new and the unknown. Touch, feel, play. For my kids this will be the first real spring in the world {their last spring was mostly spent in our arms}. It is amazing how much they grew in just one year!!

Spring means time for the long walks on the woody trails. Stopping and listening to the water trickling down the stream is just so relaxing and rejuvenating.

Can't forget the spring showers. They are responsible for making Virgina spring so green!

Spring is incomplete without bubbles and endless afternoons at the park.

Spring means ice-cream!! Here's Cuz Noah gobbling down his very first ice-cream cone.

Meet

My photo
I started blogging only after my twin boys turned a year old. Here I am recapturing the special moments and attempting to create new ones that make my life even more amazing. Why I didn't start before this? Well, I was busy traveling and discovering the fun life with twins and also catching up on my sleep when I got the time.
