Color Splash Sunday

Photobucket

It's that time of the week again! This time the Color Splash theme is flag.
I chose this picture which was taken while we were sailing our way to Liberty Island, New York. I was searching for a flag picture taken with the Lady Liberty herself but was surprised to find that I hadn't any. So, I posted a photo of this flag waving proudly on the banks of Ellis Island, which I feel has a history as rich as the Statue of liberty herself.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend, no Monday blues tomorrow!

  4. Thanks for linking up!

I love Ellis Island! You are right, this spot is very rich in history. I went there with my family last summer. We spent all day walking around and didn't want to leave.

  5. What a GRATE shot. I love how the color splashed flag kinda pulls away from the beutifull bulding. I know if the flag was colorfull, I would more or less not see it.

My photo
I started blogging only after my twin boys turned a year old. Here I am recapturing the special moments and attempting to create new ones that make my life even more amazing. Why I didn't start before this? Well, I was busy traveling and discovering the fun life with twins and also catching up on my sleep when I got the time.
